1½d scarlet with fancy italics 'Specimen' handstamp in black ACSC 91xa, very lightly mounted, Cat $1500. Believed to be unique. [The ACSC states that "The specimen handstamp was applied at the GPO London to a stamp returned from Bechuanaland". However, there are traces of another 'S' at L/R indicating there was originally at least one adjoining unit &, more likely, a strip of 3]
