1816, Letter dated 4th May originating from Madras, originally adressed to Lanark, redirected to Edinburgh. The letter bears a number of scarce marks including the Crown India Packetletter, the GR Crown Inspector's mark. The letter also contains a further correspondence written in Cochin. Very fine item. ÷ 1816, Brief vom 4. Mai aus Madras, ursprünglich nach Lanark, Schottland adressiert, umgeleitet nach Edinburgh. Clark, Assistant Surgeon, 3rd Brigade, 2nd' Division, Field Army before Bhurtpore' with framed 'Agra/Post Paid' on reverse.
