ADEN 1862 Cover + contents from Aden to Ireland, franked by India 1856 4a. grey-black tied by numeral "124", with "ADEN-ST.R POINT/11 SP/62" cds (on back), boxed "INDIA PAID" in red and Kilkenny transit cds on front, Freshford '3 Oct 62' arrival cds on the reverse. The 4a. stamp cut by scissors at top (cut perfs) and bottom (with part of neighbour stamp), the cover lightly stained at left, but still an attractive and scarce Aden-Ireland cover+letter. (Ex Bek-Pedersen coll.)

The envelope reduced at left and minor faults, but a very rare usage of the missent label in Burma - the first we saw.
