1932 BERTRAM ATLANTIS Experimental Flight cover from Germany to Australia with Junkers W33, franked firstly by German Reich 3pf. tied by Berlin '23.2.32' cds, additionally franked at each flight stage place with 13 stamps from Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Syria, Iraq, Iran, India, Ceylon, Siam, Straits Settlements, Dutch Indies and Australia where Bertram crashed on May 13th, 1932, further datestamps Wyndham (6 July) and Sydney (15 Nov 1932). A scarce cover as only 40 were carried.
