1889 Circular ½a. black on pink, Type II, cut-to-shape, used in combination with British India QV ½a. blue-green on cover from Indore City to Cannanore, Malabar. The circular stamp tied by native h/s in circle of bars, the QV stamp by squared "INDORE CITY/.../90" c.d.s., and with Cannanore 1st Dely. '18 APR 90' c.d.s. on the reverse. Envelope slightly reduced at right, fine.

IDAR 1940/1943: Two Postal Fiscal stamps 1a. violet, the first one issued in 1940, perf two sides, with (fiscal) pen-stroke, the other (issued in 1943) perf two side, unmounted mint, lightly toned. A good pair of these scrace stamps (SG from £170+)
