India: China Expeditionary Force: 1900 1/2a. tied by F.P.O. no. 15 of April 1901 to telegram envelope to Tientsin, additionally franked on obverse with British Railway Association black overprint 5c. on 1/2c. brown tied circular unframed “RAILWAY POST OFFICE TONGKU” in violet, Base Office B backstamp, good condition. The 5c. B.R.A. stamp paid the Late Letter Fee for correspondence handed in at a station. It was issued on 20 Apr. but the charge was abolished on 20 May 1901 and the stamps withdrawn.
