INDIA POSTAL HISTORY COLLECTION.Each cover here has a story to tell through the abundance of postmarks, auxiliary and manuscript markings adorning each with probably many 100s of markings distributed through the collection, all are either Victorian through KG V period except of one KG VI, not just internal mail but includes OHMS covers, foreign mails incl ship mail (often to England), some show numerous attempts to deliver to various locations, postage dues marks, dead letter offices, not known, unclaimed, refused etc. Usual mixed condition, a lifetime's effort to try and find the covers with the most cancels, outstanding.
