and onwards BRANCH OFFICE postmarks with the original Charing Cross (16) and Lombard St. (19) offices, plus later Fleet St. (2), Mark Lane (9), Gracechurch St. (5), Throgmorton Ave. (5), Ludgate Circus (1), Gresham House (1), Holborn (1), Maida Hill (2), Paddington (34) and Cannon St. (registered) single, plus strip of 3 with perfin on Reg. cover, good range of the numbers and types, several better adhesives add substantially to the value incl. 1870 1½d (2), 2½d rosy mauve scarce plates 3 and 17, 1s plates 7, 11 and 13, 3d on 3d, 6d grey plates 17 and 18, 1880-81 1½d, 1883-84 2s6d and 5s, 1883-4 6d dull green (fair colour) and 1887-92 10d pair etc. A very good lot, written-up on Devon leaves.
