Great Britain, 1891-92 The Sargent Correspondence. Group of 23 illustrated cover fronts, all about 4½" x 3½", addressed to a Miss Sargent in Bristol; nine are pen & ink, the rest watercolor including some quite elaborate and primarily quite skillfully done. Most are franked with a 1d lilac and all are postmarked Cardiff; a few are trimmed into the stamp and there is a bit of toning and such, accompanied by a 9x11½" photograph of a young girl purportedly the same Miss A.W. Sargent, but generally a F.-V.F. and attractive group.
