A somewhat scrappy but substantially well-filled mixed condition QV ranges, line engraved, surface printed with better/higher values observed though often, but not always defective and sometimes pretty. From 1d black x 3, 1840 2d x 1 all with defects, embossed 6d and 1/- 2-3 margins cut square, but this really is a collection that requires careful working through as it may easily surprise, and even the seconds may have resale value. With so many hundreds of stamps and a modest estimate, sound stamps sitting alongside defective it doesn’t take much to be found in order to justify the estimate, for example 4 x QV I.R. covers all with different Official stamps (3 being BADRALLOCH Dundonnell, Ullapool), some faults but fascinating to research with so few residents in that area. KGV 10/- values, later defins, dues regionals through to Millennium period. Many 100s One Volume. HEAVY LOT - OVERSEAS BIDDERS PLEASE ENQUIRE FOR SHIPPING COSTS [US1] (Start Price = £533.60)
