Original oldtime collection in springback album with hundreds of imperf Penny Reds & Penny Stars, other QV values to 2/- blue including 1862-64 9d straw x3, 1884 5d green x2 & 1/- green, many on piece including four pages of 1871 Halfpennies (one noted as Plate '9'), a few mint KEVII to 1/- pair, etc, lots of postmark interest especially duplexes including many "spoons", also range of Revenues; condition rather mixed but many are fine to very fine used. 1840 "Tuppence Blue"Plate 2 three examples on 1840-41 entires 1) 26.10.1840 London to Henley-on-Arden with [OA]; 2) Scotland to Ireland with [PD], 'BELFAST' transit b/s & 'LISBURN' arrival cds on the face; and 3) 4.8.1841 used within Ireland with 'TRALEE' cds & diamond d/s of Dublin on the reverse; the stamps all with 3-3½ margins; Spec Cat £9000.
