Falkland Islands: New Island: 1909 (Aug. 19) envelope from Henry Waldron of Beaver Island to C.B. Bragg in Birmingham franked 1d. cancelled by fine strike of rare type N.1 datestamp with "N. Is./19. 8. 09" inserted in manuscript by Postmaster Arthur C. Kirwan, with Oct. 2 arrival backstamp. Carried on the whaler "Swona" to Port Stanley and onward on board the "Orcoma".
