COLLECTIONS: 1853-1903, Collection of well over 100 mint and used stamps housed on well-filled old-time album pages, starting with 8 triangulars incl. 1d brick red unused 2 margins (SG5), 1858 1s bright yellow green used 3 margins (#8), 1864 6d bright mauve used (#20), etc, 4d blue woodblock highly presentable used and 1d reference filled in thin/rebacked, followed by Griqualand West with a dozen different ovpts incl. inverted on mint 1/2d, signed, leading on to Orange Free State with hardly any empty spaces through to £5 fiscal used for postage
