19th CENTURY?MAIL?GROUP: inc. 1807 E to a naval officer “on the Conway Castle gun brig Oyster Haven Ireland” with a readable “JERSEY” hs 1810 EL to London with a readable “GUERNSEY” scroll hs 1827 EL to London with a lightly struck “JERSEY” scroll hs 1864 E to Philadelphia with an 1862-64 /- tied by a v fine “409” numeral of Jersey. 28 Sept 1884 env. from Wells with a fine “JERSEY” squared circle and hs “1d”. A group of registered covers (10) inc. two from the Colombian Consulate of Jersey. 31 July 1884 copy of the British Press & Jersey Times used to Weymouth with a ½d tied by a fine “409” numeral.
