Crown CA 1d. red tied by “BARBADOS/8-JU.16 1230PM/G.P.O.” c.d.s. to commercial cover to Georgetown, British Guiana with “14 JUN/1916” receiving backstamp This is the 2021 discovery example, almost certainly sent on first day, proving issue of the new Badge of the Colony stamps eight days prior to previously recorded by Bayley or Stanley Gibbons.
