1919-20 OVERPRINTED RUSSIAN 'ARMS' TYPES: Collection of various perf. & imperf. types on stock cards. All are mint but overprints cannot be guaranteed as genuine, so inspection is essential. Issues incl. 1919 (Apr.) imperf 10r on 1k orange & 10r on 3k carmine (2 of each) and perf 1r on 5k brown & 10r on 10k on 7k blue (pulled perf). SG7-10 £1480; 1920 (12 Jan) imperf 50r on 1k orange and 50r on 2k green. SG20/21 £1550, 50r on 4k perf issue, two shortish perfs else fine mounted. SG25 £1000, 50r on 5k brown & 50r on 15k blue & brown perf issue, (50r on 5k with rounded corner and one pulled perf, else fine mounted). 1919-20 COMMERCIAL/PHILATELIC MAIL GROUP: Includes c.1919 undated local env. with signed Postmaster handstamp & negative 'Imperial Eagle' seal, postage having been prepaid (due to lack of stamps), 19 Apr. 1920 philatelic local cover bearing 3r violet (tree) SG 16 and 15r on 1k orange SG 20b (cat. £170 used), undated 1920 civilian PPC to Sussex with Georgian franking alongside "BRITISH CONSULATE/BATOUM" cachet in violet.
