1904 cover ex NZ to Tasmania ("Tatts"mail), franked NZ 1d Universal x 2 canc Sydney duplex d/s No. 2? 04 (so posted on ship). At left, fine double oval "LOOSE SHIP / LETTER" h/s (of Sydney). Partly over this are Australia 1902 1d, 4d & 6d emerald-green p11¾ Postage Dues (SG D2, D5. D6?, very fresh colour), FU canc unclear Hobart cds. No due marking visible on cover, so stamps used to pay for postage due on several covers to the same address? Stamps cat SG £44, with multiple x 8 on cover. Hobart receipt b/s 5 NO 04.
