1934 England-Australia MacRobertson Air Race unofficially carried GB KGV 1½d envelope with '18 OC 34' cds, plus Australia KGV 2d red for return to England tied by 'Melbourne 25 OC 34' pmk. Also letter from Dutch pilot Parmentier agreeing to sign the cover, which he & co-pilot Moll have done on flap, suggesting this was carried by them unofficially with only 4 covers flown this way.
