A fascinating range, some mixed condition but mostly VF. 1940 Censored to Melbourne with an intriguing 3 state combination franking of Eritrea 1933 5c black, Ethiopia 1936 10c brown & Italian East Africa 1938 2c orange gazelle (flts), ea tied by a single strike of 'Addis Ababa 18.2.40 Arrivi-Par Tenze' cds, alongside is a diamond 'Passed Censor no.4 Aden' violet h/s. rare. 1949 UPU set on FDC, then KGVI/QEII period range of commercial mail showing a variety of rates & usages. Also Meter Cancel or Franked covers 1956-61 (12), British Field PO covers 1957-95 (6), few Flight Covers, 1955 (3 Dec) combination Aerogramme to North Borneo with Ceylon 40c QEII Aerogramme uprated with Aden 1954 70c black tied with Aden GPO cds. Also PPC range (16) inc 2 postally U, others UN all B&W with a variety of scenes. Various others, some mixed condition but mostly F-VF. Enough material here to produce a nice exhibit.
