Sent on Edward's return from his eight month trip to India. Franked by rare three colour combination of India 1a brown, 4a green and 8a carmine for 13a double rate (Brindisi routing) tied by '[ADEN]./MAR.20 - B-22' duplex (type KD8), black 'PD' handstamp below, 'SEA/POST OFFICE/E/19MAR' (Hydaspes) backstamp.
