1843 cover sent from Bristol to Edinburgh then redirected via London to France, franked by 1d red-brown with clear to wide margins, cancelled by a light black MC, with a despatch c.d.s. on reverse for 7th Jy, along with a hand struck 'Bristol/7/Jy 1843/Py Post' & Edinburgh arrival for 8th, 'PAID' Edinburgh c.d.s. on the front for the 10th, along with a London tombstone h/stamp for the 12th tying the stamp, two 'P' in oval paid marks and a Boulogne transit also applied. nice redirection to Europe with a delightful group of markings.
