PLATE 15 - FA-FH - ON SUSSEX COVER, SHOWING PARTIAL KNIFE CUTS TO AID SEPARATION - Nov. 1841 EL to Mayfield franked with eight 1d reds arranged as two strips of four, importantly the units in each strip cut to a point very close to the top where still joined to facilitate quick separation, cancelled by MX strikes (the lower four stamps two strikes only) though tied to the cover in a fashion by the corresponding blue staining on the cover under the stamps (stamps lifted and hinged back), ARUNDEL cds on the back.
