1987-1992 The Famous Women series of Germany should be one of the iconic definitive series like Exporta, Australia decimal, US Prexies, Germany Inflation period, etc. The series was issued from 1986-2003 and spanned the German reunification period and the conversion to the Euro. It is a attractively designed series with both Germany and Berlin issues and a few key errors. These 1,800 covers were pulled from the IYS correspondence to Germany from 1987-1992 (over 60,000 covers). This could easily be the start of an excellent exhibit of this series.
