Encompasses loads of better values and sets from plebiscites, WW1 occupations, WW2 occupations, colonies and DDR. Features much Scott unlisted and some cinderella material along with dubious to scrutinize although, many of these items are signed. Worth close inspection. (Image)

Germany Areas accumulation with over 25 black stock pages that includes hundreds of German colonies and Upper Silesia (strong cancels/varieties). Also DDR and occupation stamps mounted on Scott pages. Good lot for the specialist or branching out in the German Area. (Image)

Germany and area comprehensive collection in twelve binders eleven of which are Scott Specialty. Custom organized by an accomplished collector/exhibitor into his interest areas on a mixture of Scott pages and blank homemade ones. Huge aggregate catalog value. Mixed condition, mixed mint and used. Very advanced in places while pedestrian in others. Weak in souvenir sheets. The volume containing the Offices and Colonies is the strongest with more than usual large Yachts present. Strong classics with a used #64A, and a few mint Zeppelins (faulty), and oodles of German States. Three volumes of DDR don't help, but the advanced nature of the others makes this one a must see. Around 85 mainly postal cards, postcards and a few covers from China, Turkey, Kiauchau, Cameroun, Togo, Southwest Africa, Marshall Islands, Marianas, and Carolines having both postally used and unused. German Southwest Africa fantastic essentially complete (less the two rarities and a couple others) mint and used collection arranged in a Lindner hingeless album. On top of the basic issues it contains forerunners, extra shades, perf types plus twenty covers or cards. Basically shelf ready or add a bit of postal history to make an exhibit. (Image)

Germany building issues (#634-661) specialized collection in an old Washington pinchback album on homemade pages. Begins with a selection of fifteen "early date" usages in September of 1948 many with SOTN cancels. It then jumps into the types most of which are identified by Michel. Many perforation and watermark varieties follow. It then moves on to the obscure; printer's waste, and other freaks with more double perfs than usually seen. Finally plating has begun with many partially complete. Also includes perfins, interesting cancels, and more than a handful of "Notopfer" varieties. By no means complete, but ready for continuation by a new student of this complex issue. (Image)
