One man's collection of East German area covers and cards put together bit by bit over several years at local, regional, and national shows. Four cartons as received. Mixed condition. Most protected in sleeves. Carefully organized by "postmark year" from a handful of Zones through the 1980s. Good with the bad condition, better with the common. A few nuggets here and there in the midst of the common. Well over 2,400 (estimated) entities offered in its entirety. Great as a dealer's stock or collection. Personal inspection is suggested. Germany 1945-1976 collection housed in three KaBe hingeless albums. Mainly used. Over 95% complete for the pages with many high powered stamps included. Includes Germany, Zones, Berlin, and East Germany, best is Saar virtually complete. Many seldom seen stamps including the best values. When used were unavailable, a mint issue holds the place. The expensive hingeless albums are clean and continuable. The webphotos only begin to tell the story that an in person viewing will enhance. (Image)

Germany and areas collection in 6 Lighthouse hingeless binders and loose album pages. Includes German Soviet Zone, Occupation Stamps WW2, German Locals, German Russia Zone and booklets/pairs (the Best) from 1916-1941. Lot also has a few covers and a folder with sheets. Some duplicate number cancels on different stamps. Mixed condition. Huge catalog for the stamps alone, let alone the premium cancels. Strongest in Baden, Prussia, Saxony, and Thurn and Taxis. Germany bread and butter collection in five Scott albums. Includes: States and colonies, Germany, Berlin to 1967, and DDR to 1990. Three of the albums are the new larger binder type while the other two are specialty albums. As collected as received. Hundreds of stamps. High aggregate catalog. Enough power (earlies, postwar sets, and Zepps) to consider continuation. The albums are clean with just a few reprints and "nachdruke" to spoil the cataloging. Easy lot to figure and market. German East Africa extensive parallel mint and used collection in two Lindner hingeless albums. Starts with a nice array of vorlaufers then contains about eighty stamps plus exploded booklets. Next comes sixty-one postal stationary items along with a couple covers. Both areas hold many attractive cds’s some of which are somewhat better. The latter carries some postal history value.
