Germany.Germany - postal history
Germany -- Scott #415, 492, 493 B140 on cover Great looking 1939 cover Germany to US; but it gets even better. Backside has a rare Fritz Fabritius cinderella propaganda stamp. Not only did Fabritius look like Hitler, he acted like him. In September 1932, Romanian Fritz Fabritius created the Movement for Reciprocal Assistance of Romanian Germans with a national-socialist orientation. In May 1933, Fabritius founded the National-Socialist Party of Romanian Germans, which propagated Nazi ideas and organized youth camps; members of this party wore uniforms and used the swastika as their symbol. So as not to be dissolved on the basis of the 9 December 1933 journal of the Ion Duca government, the PNSGR took the name Movement of National Renewal of Romanian Germans. The attempt at evasion did not go undetected and on 7 July 1934, the government decided to ban the work camps and disband the NEDR. Exceptional franking including the semi-postal. Front of cover also has light violet auxiliary marking in English that says "Kindly Advise correspondent of your Present Address" (Image1)
