Valuable Used Collection to 1960 on Stock Pages, in one large binder. Starting with a pen cancelled Scott 12 (c.v. $165) the collection shows a high completion rate for regular and semi-postal stamps and also includes other back-of-the book issues. We also noted 14 (c.v. $110), B23-7 (c.v. $151), B49-57 with 55a instead of 55 (c.v. $287), B310-3 (c.v. $130) and B320-3 (c.v. $110). In fact most of the semi-postals from the post-war period to 1960 are present. A very high quality collection, where even the earlier issues are all fresh and well-centered and with legible socked-on-the-nose cancels. We scanned all of the pages in this lovely collection. Mint and Used Dealer’s Stock in 5 Stockbooks, and loose stock pages covering the period 1875 to about 1980 with few items before or after that. Mostly used material loosely organized by period or sets but neatly displayed. Duplication appears reasonable but difficult to assess as the same stamps can be found in more than one stockbook. We noted semi-postals and other back-of-the-book items, numbered coil stamps and strips, as well as Berlin issues. Many thousand stamps. Fine to very fine. (Image)

Mint and Used Collection and Accumulation of Germany and Berlin 1980-1999, in 5 stockbooks. This lot is mainly comprised of 3 copies of probably each regular or semi-postal stamp and souvenir sheet issued in Germany and Berlin within the period. Note that we did not verify completion. Up to 1995, in certain years only, one of the 3 copies is cancelled to order, from 1995 to 1999 all copies are mint never hinged. However, the number of copies, both mint and used is often higher up to 1985. In addition a group of about 90 automatic dispenser stamps of various values to 3DM is also included. A very fine lot, of interest to collectors and dealers alike. Scans show a sampling. (Image)

This lot is mainly comprised of 3 copies of, likely each regular or semi-postal stamp and souvenir sheet and one copy of each booklet within the period issued in Germany. Cat No:Collections

Collections of Mint and Used, 1880s to 1990s, consisting of thousands of stamps of Germany, DDR, German States and various occupations in black mounts or hinged onto (mostly) Steiner pages in two very thick binders (one with no stamps, but ready to be filled and the other chock full of DDR across most of the range of its existence, including the earliest issues) and some postal stationery. There is duplication among these collections, which are also on loose quadrille pages and in about 75 Vario-style black stock sheets (this latter group with a faint odor of tobacco). There is duplication in the modern material and we noted some faulty in the early stamps. Overall fine or better, this lot would be a great entry into to this very popular collecting area. Our photos show a general overview, but viewing recommended to better appreciate. (Image)
