Thurn and Taxis, marvellous colln of over 400 stamps mint and used, both Northern and Southern District issues, with plenty of genuine mint never hinged for example the Northern District 1863 3sgr bistre pair mnh, 1865 ]sgr yellow and 1sgr rose blocks of four mnh both signed, Southern District 1865 3kr rose mnh corner block of four, etc, as well as an excellent range of used examples, of which highlights are the Northern District 1852 1sgr on dark blue superb four-margined, the scarce 5sgr used on piece, 1865 roulette issues with the 1/4sgr black and 1/3sgr green both with cds town postmarks, similarly the colour-rouletted 1/3sgr green cds signed, as well as Southern District with lots of shades and excellent postmark interest, the majority having superb strikes. 1881-1929 colln on vintage Schaubek leaves with a depth of used ranges across virtually all states, Baden-Wurttemburg from first issue imperfs with numerous good and elusive stamps, condition generally well above average than usually encountered, some earliest are mixed, many later cds with some fine strikes, complete sets. High vals etc, strength in Bavaria, useful Alsace Lorraine, Prussia, Saxony, Thurn & Taxis, extensive, Wurttemburg (100s). Cat €5000

An impressive used colln, 1919-1945, housed in an old-fashioned album with virtually no empty spaces and often crowded with varieties in the same space! Highlights include excellent inflation period with much expertized inc. 1920 2.50m on 2m lilac rose signed twice, the 1921/22 wmk network 5pf, 10pf, 15pf, 30pf and 160pf all expertized, the 1923 50mk miners, the serrate roulette 20 million ultramarine and 50 billion blue, etc. Then comprehensive Third Reich including all the Zeppelins ordinary, South America, Polar and Chicago, the Wagner issue to 40pf with both perf types on the 20pf, souvenir sheets, as well as strong officials, especially the inflation issues again to 50 billion marks, the latter and preceding four values all expertised and signed.
