Schleswig Presentation Book in red with gold lettering and titled with circled "SLESVIG PLEBISCIT" around coat of arms of two lions and inscribed to "CAPITAINE DANIEL BRUUN', contains Mi D1-14 set on unaddressed envelope with "Commission Internationale Slesvig" printed imprint at top and Flensburg 10.2.20 cancels, uncancelled sets of Mi 1-14 and D1-4 affixed on page, mint postal cards (Mi P1-3, DP1-3), Fine and rarernPeter Daniel Bruun (1856 -1931) was a Danish officer, explorer, archaeologist and author. At the outbreak of World War 1, he again became an active officer of the Security Force. In 1920, he was a police officer at the International Commission for the Monitoring of the North and Middle East Missions. He resigned from the post before time due to disagreement with Commission members on the division of tasks between police and military. (Image)
