Bread and butter advanced Germany collection into the 1980s in three mismatched albums. Best is the Schaubek album that covers States, Colonies, and area. Thousands in catalog with better than usual condition. Lots of Admiral sized Yachts and seldom seen items in this album. Next best is the Scott Specialized with confederation through the Empire, Third Reich, Berlin and other Zones, through the early post war years. Not as much power here with most of the higher ticket items not included. Last is a group of modern Bundes era on homemade pages including DDR where the value is. Owners count of over $30,000.00 catalog for it all was probably correct when it was done in 1998 and 2011. Needs the eye of an expert to come up with a competitive bid. Will interest many bidders at the reserve. (Image)

Postal cards and postcard group of 38 all having something to do with the Herero Wars circa 1904 somewhere in South West Africa. Real photo cards, soldier's mail, and German Southwest Africa cancels are the philatelic highlights. A couple have been preliminarily translated into English with exceptional results. Very mixed condition as most of these traveled hundreds and hundreds of miles to keep the Fatherland notified. If your German is good there are discoveries in the historical sense to be uncovered. Two cartons of Germany and area covers fresh from an area estate. Purchased over many years at local bourses and even from long ago mail auctions. Around 1200 covers and cards not counting the 1979 postal stationery in the unopened packs that we sold back in 1991. Interesting postal stationery (over half the lot) that at one time was organized, but now a bit jumbled. All the covers saved for some now forgotten reason offered here in one lot. Totally unsearched by us. Lots of internet potential. (Image)
