Ca. 1920s 1000m and 2000m Essays, printed on gummed watermarked paper, the 1000m in green measures 37 x 42mm and the 2000m in orange measures 38 x 47mm. Could have been prepared for the 1924 German Eagle definitives project. Both are from the King Farouk collection and have the appropriate handstamp on back, very fine. (Image)
