Germany, General Government, Military, Postal stationery card (fold) sent from Gestapo prison, JASLO 17.V.40 to Warsaw, via Polish Red Cross. The card is written by Jan Karski, a prominent man of the Polish resistance, who first informed the world about the Holocaust. Karski was captured by Germans in May 1940 and was later rescued by the Polish home Army unit. Interesting item. (Image1)
