Turkey, 1863, 1pi black on pale gray blue, "broken tughra" variety. Third printing. Tied by Battal mute lattice of dots handstamp on registered cover from Constantinople to Sumnu (Shumen) addressed to the 2nd Imperial Army; certificate states the cover has been refolded on reverse and was probably bearing a further adhesive at right of front panel, we find no evidence to this, Very Fine, with 2013 G. Todd certificate.
