Dawlish & Torquay. 1805-49 Entire letters or entires (39) and fronts (4) comprising letters written at Dawlish with Teignmouth mileage marks (7), Exeter Penny Post + "No 8" (10) or an Exeter c.d.s, Dawlish undated circle (10) or c.d.s (5, two types); from Torquay with Newton Abbot Penny Post (2) or Torquay c.d.s (3); and a letter from Teignmouth with an undated circle, eight letters sent as Frees, mostly from Lord Sinclair. Also 1825-38 Certificates of Service issued to George Gibbs (5) for service on H.M.S "Eau" or "Aurora" or as a Boatman at the Coast Guard Stations at Dawlish (2) or Lyme Cobb. (48).
