Magically interesting entire dated 1846 posted in Florence to Paris and re-directed to London with red London arrival mark dated 20 Nov 1846. Addressed to Sir George Hayter (Principle Painter in Ordinary to Queen Victoria) Portrait artist, from his famous artist friend Seymour Kirkup. Text of letter is fascinating. Further marks, D15 French Postman's mark in black, French F18 Accountancy mark in black rectangle, T.S. 1 Transit mark in black together with 1/5d manuscript on front. Usual vertical crease.
