A 2-ring file with the interesting accumulation/collection of entires, covers, a few documents, etc. From France 1741-1847 (34), from Sardinian Occupied Nice area 1829-1846 (50), 6 entires from Spain(Malaga, Barcelona) to Marseille 1847-56. We note Nizza pmks, 'Italie par Antibes' boxed cachets, some Revolution period items, some interesting content (e.g. 1788 letter from the Customs at Lyon regarding a duty(?) problem with 1600 pieces of wood destined for the French Colonies in America), mainly business correspondence, useful for postmark study. A few with faults but mainly fine/v.fine for the period. Will, no doubt repay careful study & translation!! (92 items)..
