Extremely interesting 1827 cover from Toulouse to Edinburgh, P30P Toulouse mark showing paid by sender, together with AV boxed on red showing that the GPO in Paris had verified the payment 'Affranchissement Verifie'. Manuscript 24 decimes paid, also boxed ½ endorsed in UK showing payment for cross border to Scotland. On the reverse are a London receiving mark in black and an Edinburgh receiving mark in red.
