Spree'', whilst en route through the Atlantic the propeller shaft broke; water flooded the hold and the ship was towed by ''S.S. Lake Huron'' to Queenstown, Ireland, stamps floated off save one which has been reattached, reverse bearing stylographic label affixed by the New York Post Master, very scarce. ? ? The stylographic reads ''Post Office, new york, ny. This piece of mail was damaged by water through the breaking of the shaft on the steamship ''spree'', which sailed from Southampton, nov 23d.
