1987-88 Ships Defins 45t, 70t, 80t & K2 lithographed printing imperf PROOFS. Issued as 70t, 45t, 35t & K2 respectively, but with diff colour frames & the issued set was photogravure by Courvoisier on granite paper. VF fresh, affixed to BDT International printers proof cards & issued set to compare. SG 550, 552, 554 & 556(p), mentioned in footnote as the unissued sets were supplied to PNG agents overseas & some were sold in error by their agent in USA. The perf unissued sets have previously sold for between $2000-$4000+ in our previous auctions while this is the 1st time we have seen an imperf set of the unissued design/value combinations. (8) (P)
