JOHN'S NFLD/CANADA/AIR MAIL SERVICE" with map outline in inner circle. Signed on front "J.R. McCowan/St. Pierre Miquelon/Aug. 31". Flight was interrupted at St. Pierre and covers confiscated for (3) years. Reverse has company stamp with explanation signed by J.R. McCowan.
