Starting with a letter from 1555 during the reign of Henry II the collection includes letters of Luis XIV, letters from the Vatican, a letter with complete seal from Luis XV (1746), a letter from the French-British war in Canada (1758), vouchers and documents from the revolutionary period in 1789 or a letter of NAPOLEON BONAPARTE (with complete signature "Bonaparte") as General en Chef during the Egypt war in 1798 from Cairo, to the citizen General Dommartin, Commander of the artillery, concerning the armament.
