FRANCE EXHIBITION COLLECTION OF STAMPLESS COVERS 1673-1862 MOUNTED ON 130+ EXHIBITION PAGES, formed by the late old-time stamp dealer Lars G Larsson of Lund, Sweden, the collection has been exhibited at national shows in Sweden and most recently received a vermeil medal plus honorary price at the 2002 Vatex exhibition, over 250 covers neatly displayed on the pages with annotations in Swedish, the collection is comprised of early covers showing markings from the various towns of origin, further postage due markings in manuscript and handstamped, official mail, covers where the sender has paid all or part of the postage, sometimes for specific routes, arrival cancels showing only day date, others showing day/month/year, cancels and notations pertaining to the origination, type or special handling of the cover, international mail showing covers from France to abroad, incoming mail to France and mail going thru France between different foreign destinations, the condition throughout is excellent showing Mr. Larsson's dedication to find the finest example he could uncover for each cover with markings and notations, very fine throughout, an extraordinary opportunity to acquire a collection ready for exhibition and to build further for a higher level of awards
