NZ 1937 water stained "Cygnus" flying boast crash cover, ex Dunedin 19 November, bearing 1d airmail + 2 x 9d pictorials, to England, with black boxed "DAMAGED BY SEA/WATER"cachet (applied in London), & "19.12.37" in blue ink on rear of this very colourful crash cover. NZ 1947 Auckland-Vancouver hand addressed cover, with 2/- pictorial, ex Tokoroa 24 April, & "TOO LATE" h/s in black. Cover was subsequently carried on 2nd flight (2 weeks later) & b/s Vancouver 12 May, thus a scarcer cover than FFC.
