Yunnan, 1926, "Limited for Use in Yunnan Province" overprinted in black, 6¢ brown, unissued value (Chan YPN1), a splendid right-margin example of this legendary issue, beautifully centered, with full customarily disturbed original gum, which is never hinged; some light, even toning, otherwise Very Fine, a lovely example of this great rarity, missing from all but the finest of collections, signed S.C. Chao and Hu San, with accompanying 2018 Experts & Consultants Ltd. photo certificate.

Japanese Offices in China, Commemorative cancels, useful and very unusual selection of 35 cards, nearly all showing stamp tied to unaddressed card by various I.J.P.O. commemorative cancels; we note a wide variety of cities represented, including Amoy, Shanghai, Hankow, Canton, Soochow, Changsha, Shansi, etc. Condition varies on a few, but largely Fine to Very Fine, nice specialist group; examine.

Japanese Occupation of China, Specialist's delight, in five stockbooks, several folders and a sheaf of album pages; all identified by Scott and Chan numbers, and comprising the full breadth of the field: Kwangtung, Meng Chiang, Honan, Hopei, Shansi, Shantung, Supeh, North China and Shanghai & Nanking; the collection encompasses the general types, plus specialized sorting by large vs. small overprints, perforation varieties, watermarked vs. unwatermarked issues, various papers and printings, etc.; a nice mix of mint and used, with much of the mint never hinged; solid selection across the board, with Fall of Singapore and Decenary of Manchuria issues included; we note doubled overprints, offset perforations, $10 and $20 values throughout, and both Chinese daters and Japanese-style combs among the cancels, Fine to Very Fine with much better throughout, well worth a careful inspection.
