WORLDWIDE AIRMAIL

1954 MOOSE-JAW-SASK (CANADA) AIR CRASH, during the APR8'1954 approach to the Moose-Jaw Airport a TCA North Star (from Winnipeg and en-route to Vancouver) collided mid-air with an RCAF Harvard trainer, this was the worst Canadian airline disaster to date spreading debris over 10 blocks of the town and starting a number of house fires, the lot includes a severely fire damaged cover that originated in OTTAWA and was addressed to VANCOUVER plus the OHMS ambulance cover with the post office condolence letter, all 37 passengers and crew died, VF ($75+ US) (Image)
