Precancel Collection on Precancel Album Pages in a Binder, from Small Queens to 1977, the main collection in a binder catalogues $3,672, and includes 6 stock pages of more common duplicates which were not counted. A smaller 3-ring binder contains better duplicates cataloguing $250. Note many inverted precancels, a double precancel and 3 private perfin stamps with Hamilton precancels. Best represented city is Kingston, with Ottawa and Hamilton also strong. Also note a number of mint hinged stamps but mostly all without gum. Saw a few minor faults (short perfs, thins, etc.) still many fine to very fine and a great collection for continuation. (Image)

One of the nicest we have seen, contains mint and / or used singles and / or blocks from 1908-on, postcards with Christmas seals, covers, full sheets, French and English material, contemporary letters with letterhead, a 1940 booklet, essays, progressive proofs, imperforates and more. Also includes imperforate singles of the 30c and 50c, as well as a block of four of the First Bill $3 value (van Dam $320) and a Saskatchewan issue with SPECIMEN overprint. Very little duplication and includes more than one colour of most stamps. The great majority of the stamps are on card-mounted India paper, with some being simply on India paper.
