LETTER / PAID LIVERPOOL" tombstone in transit with "BY-CANADIAN / PACKET" on reverse along with Edinburgh cds and Warriston Scots Local on arrival, forwarded with ms "1" paid in cash to Androssan with arrival bs, fine and rare franking carried via the Allan Line. Note: The "tall" and "short" printing varieties, on all values of the Pence Issue, are a result of paper shrinkage after printing, and are particularly noticeable on the 7 1/2d and 10d.
