REGISTERED MAIL/ MONEY LETTERS 1844-90: a small group of domestic covers and forms mounted on written-up pages explaining the rates & routes etc., inc. an 1883 private postcard (First Division Court, County of Middlesex) with a 2c REGISTERED and 1c postage stamp tied with partial LONDON/CANADA cds (damaged on front, but with a Vincent Graves Green cert. 2017), an 1878 quintuple rate letter with a 2c REGISTERED + 5 x 3c postage stamps tied and s/l 3 x REGISTERED h.s. (side tears and creases overall), plus other stamped & stampless covers & EL in overall good condition. Also, 3 C.O.D. envelopes (1889/90, two extremely fine, the other torn open), 3 Registered Letter Bills (all dated 1963), plus a non-registered cover dated 1887. All covers generally fine with small tears, creases, or stains. Ex-dealer's stock. A substantial group of likely higher value items. REGISTERED MAIL 1857-87: a small group of covers and forms mounted on written-up pages explaining the rates & routes etc. Mainly domestic, some to U.S.A., inc. a clean example of a 5c Nesbitt postal stationery env. pen-cancelled with a s/l REGISTERED hs & indistinct cds - 1860? (back flap neatly cut with blade), an 1857 part wrapper rated 8/6 currency with a PAID and 2 boxed REGISTERED h.s.s and a very fine large ST. HYACINTHE/A/JAN/31/1857/C.E. cds, an env. to New York dated 1887 incorrectly franked with a 2c REGISTERED stamp with the remainder of the 5c fee made up by postage stamps (+ double rate postage of 6c, side tear with small part of flap missing), and other stamped & stampless registered covers. Also, 2 C.O.D. envelopes (1889, one extremely fine, the other torn open), a Registration Receipt dated 1892, 2 Letter Bills and 2 Registered Letter Bills (all dated 1963), plus 2 non-registered covers.
