Cat No:34-47

Superior Collection of Mint and Used Small Queens, all displayed on 10 black stock pages, with all values represented. Many of the stamps have been identified by owner as varieties from the Reiche / Sendbuehler book, noting better such as 1c with "Strand of Hair" (a few long strands, a few medium, etc.), a used 6c (#39) with "Y Flaw in left 6", and more. There is good postmark interest as well, with fancy, precancels (on several 10c and 50c values), etc. A high percentage of the material is mint (including some of the early printings), and a quick spot check revealed some NH stamps. We also note the presence of many shades, including early printings and other better ones, as well as some multiples (strips, blocks) and perforation varieties, incl. 11½ x 12 and Gazette printings. A useful collection for the Small Queen enthusiast, or online reseller, with huge catalogue / retail value. All pages are scanned online for your viewing pleasure, overall quality is better than usual. (Image)

Cat No:34/46

Old Time Hoard of Used Small Queens, from a new find in a small Northern Ontario town, all sorted by denomination in envelopes and in a box, with various quantities of each value between the ½c and 20c. A totally unpicked lot, as we note early shades, lots of nice postmarks (squared circles, fancy corks, RPO, etc.), precancels and lots more. Probably also a great lot for possible varieties. Quality is typical for this kind of lot, pictures show an overview of the lot, showing the quantity, which we assume to be in the thousands. (Image)
