1868 2c green Large Queen Strip of Three on Cover. Mailed Peterboro C.W (two strikes Berri duplex dated DEC.1868) and addressed to Alfred, Maine. There are two Montreal "Q" inner broken circle transit cancels on back dated DEC.18.1868. This strip paid the 6c cross-border rate to the US and is unchecked for paper varieties but we note that all, or most perforation holes between stamps remain unpunched through, suggesting a thicker paper.
