1870 Cover with 4d Black Bisected Stamp, mailed on NOV.5.1870 (neat Prince Edward island c.d.s. free strike) to Mansfield (PEI) and franked with a bisected 4d Queen Victoria paying the 2d internal letter rate. The stamp is ideally tied to the cover by a #13 in grid obliterator. Tiny stain in tip of stamp, else very fine and scarce.
